Looking for a quiet , not busy home.

Unfortunately, we are reaching out and looking for a new family for Ponyo. She currently is with a family that has been working very hard on her anxiety/training. She is a wonderful girl, but has her normal Shiba quirks. She does not like her feet being touched, so nail trim trimming is definitely a challenge. She’s also aloof/timid with strangers. She will bark a lot with new people. She has been working on training to reduce the barking, and it seems to be working. We would like a home/family that does not have small children. No cats, but possibly would do well with a male dog companion. However, that would have to be watched as well as she doesn’t always like to share her food bowl.
Ponyo does have anxieties. And needs a family that can work with her. There are supports, including the previous family that has been working on her training, and a behaviour specialist from the West Coast Shiba Society. She currently is in Saskatchewan, Saskatoon area. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. Series inquiries only please.
