The primary goal of KCC is to advance individuals facing life's challenges toward a typical developmental path and provide them with the opportunity to lead meaningful lives in natural, inclusive settings. FAMILY CENTERED PRACTICE
KCC works collaboratively with the families and interventionists to assess and prioritize the needs of the individual. Families are supported in becoming actively involved in planning, goal setting, prioritizing goals, implementing intervention strategies, and decision making.

🧐💡At L'Arche, we are open to learning and self-discovery from our experiences and the teachers around us.💡🧐

Our team of Assistants, Relief and Leadership completed their SIVA training last week and it was a stand-out success! Over two highly productive days, the group delved into essential safety and intervention strategies, transforming complex information into practical skills. A huge shout-out goes to our ever-knowledgeable and experienced trainer (and dear friend), the amazing Jackie! Her expertise and engaging style made the training content resonate well with our L’Arche core values and with everyone in the room. We are so proud of the dedication shown by our team – well done everyone, for leveling up your support skills! 👏👏👏😃
