Happy new year!
A bowl of soba and a crisp, cold hike to start the year.

My snow pants served me well, but I need some new gloves - my fingers are frozen! Maybe it's all the silver rings I wear - they are magical but they conduct the cold! 🤣

Now I'm cozy at home and reading Tarot as the gorgeous moon rises.

Happy Holidays!

Wishing you serenity, joy, good company, and time to connect with your own heart.

Life is overwhelming. It is beautiful, terrible, and incomprehensibly huge.

I feel things so deeply, and I know you do, too. One moment, I am inspired by the kindness and love that I see everywhere; the next, my heart breaks for all the suffering and pain we put ourselves through as human beings.

On a fundamental level, we’re all just trying to live our lives with some joy, love, and feelings of achievement and purpose. We want to love and be loved. We want to be safe. Simple things.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed today, I invite you to take a seat, take a deep breath in, and a slow breath out, and stop all your running around, worrying, and trying to get everything done, just for a moment. I offer you a moment of calm and love, based on the wisdom of the Tarot's Major Arcana. This blog post is an oldie that has become a tradition for me and I'm so happy to share it with you. xo
