After decades of providing exceptional care for the humans in our community, we recognized an undeniable gap in the market: animals deserve retirement too. Animal Place will offer state-of-the-art amenities including memory foam napping suites, daily low-impact bird-watching excursions, on-site grooming and "paw-sicle" spa treatments, and a gourmet dining program featuring rotating menus of premium delicacies and aged cheddar. Cayley's Highland Dance Company brought the magic of Highland dancing to life for the residents. We loved to see such talented, local dancers! With the group all dressed in traditional highland costumes, dancing to bagpipe music and performing traditional dances like Highland Fling and The Sword dance.

Cayley also explained the history and significance of each dance, which the residents really appreciated. We all marvelled at the dancer's precision and fast footwork! It was an amazing evening and we will definitely be looking forward to their next visit!

We were to happy to present the cheque for the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes for $2,000 that we raised from Cupcake Day 2026!

It was such a great turnout and we are so proud to support a great organization each year for this event.

Our Executive Chef Mark and chef Austin had a great time at this year's Kawartha Lakes Soupfest. This was their first appearance at Soupfest in many years.

We are proud that Chef Mark reclaimed his 1st Place The Golden Ladle award for the best tasting soup, 1st Place for Judges choice and 3rd place for the Most Unique Soup. 🍲🍲🍲

It was a fantastic event and we will look forward to it next year!

Our residents in the Senior Living Community are very active in giving back to the community! The organizers of the weekly bingo games takes proceeds from those games to pool together for the Kawartha Lakes Food Source. Along with the proceeds, our residents are great at filling up the donation bins you see in the main lobby.

Join them every Monday and Wednesday at 1:45PM in the party room if you'd like to have some bingo fun and contribute to a great cause.
