December 20: Mothers Night ✨🌘
Honouring the divine feminine
This year I’ve decided that I need to lean into what I want, and what I enjoy and love during the holiday season. For me that is tradition. I love a freakin tradition. I love unique moments. I love learning about history and why we do the things we do.
So this year my family is exploring Yule.
12 Days of celebration that are rooted in family, community, self love, the beauty of nature, the power of manifestation and the notion of renewal.
Small acts each day that celebrate the seasons, and the underlying ideas that go with them.
The day before the solstice, the mother’s night. I spent the day with my daughters. We had a yes day of togetherness. We leaned into moments of conversation and sharing. The children went sledding in the darkness.
I ended the night with a quiet walk through my home, while the family lay asleep.
We also collected supplies for Yule!
