Ron, our Eastern Canada Account Manager stopped by Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre to drop off catalogs, and Bentley was there doing what he does best , offering comfort and companionship to everyone who walks through the door 🐾

Bentley is an important part of the Lakeland family, and every time they place an order with us, we make sure a little thank you goes his way too. Today the timing lined up perfectly.

We’re grateful for funeral homes like Lakeland, where care extends not just to families, but to every small, meaningful presence that helps make hard days a little softer. 💕

Despite being surrounded by the hope for joy and happiness, for too many people the Christmas season is very often a difficult time. We are hosting an open invitation to all who may wish to acknowledge loss at this time of year.

All are welcome, regardless of when a loss took place, who you may have lost, or where a funeral ( or no funeral) may have taken place. Please know you are welcome to share in our night of peace and comfort with friends.

Hello, my name is Bentley. I am the Comfort Dog at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, Lindsay, Ontario. My coworkers adopted me from the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society in October of 2016. I am a “Whoodle” (Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier and Poodle mix), so I am hypoallergenic. I bring a lot of comfort and smiles to the families that come to Lakeland Funeral Centre. I always enjoy visitors, so you are welcome to come and meet me anytime!
