Last Wednesday, November 5th, the Atwood Lions hosted a successful open house that truly embodied our community spirit. Attendees were treated to a compelling presentation by fellow Lion David, followed by an even more satisfying meal that showcased the warmth and hospitality of our club. The energy in the room reminded us why we serve: to build stronger, healthier communities through compassion and action. As a reminder, Lions meetings meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month, and they’re open to everyone who shares a commitment to service. Our motto—We Serve—makes us better together, and we believe the strength of the club lies in the vibrant community we live in. Bring a friend, get involved, and help keep our community thriving.

After 14 great years, the Atwood Witches Walk has come to an end. We have raised almost $100,000 for local community projects, supporting Elma Logan Arena improvements and various Atwood Lions Club projects.

Thank you to all of the volunteers over the years for making this event such a success, and thank you especially to everyone who enjoyed the walk.

Thank you to everyone whose sponsorship comes in many forms.
We are especially grateful to the Government of Canada for their support of our Annual Canada Day Event through the Celebrate Canada Grant.

Merci à tous pour leur soutien qui se manifeste de différentes manières. Nous sommes particulièrement reconnaissants au gouvernement du Canada pour son soutien à notre événement annuel de la fête du Canada grâce à la subvention Célébrons le Canada.

We all know that our sponsors and donations, both time and money, are not for the giver but for the community- for all of us. Kids young and old.
This past Canada Day seemed extra special and we're equally greatful to all that donated, sponsored and lent a hand and for every bit of help, time and long hours and commitment from everyone including all of you, the community that came out, stayed in the heat, waited for a refreshment and something to eat and enjoyed the entertainment and came out big finale. Thank you for following us on Facebook, we know we post a lot this time of year and thank you for your continued support and patience as there is a lot to cover.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Kadylack Farm Sunflower Walk for providing an afternoon of games and fun for everyone.

Stay tuned for opening day of the Sunflower Walk.
