🌸 Are you interested in sun learning about flower essences? 🌸

I’m starting a Flower Essence club where I mail you essences to try. Trying is the process of using them and noting any changes. We would get together online at the end of the month and compare notes.

DM me if you are interested in joining. You would pay the cost of shipping and commit to your time and in exchange you get to learn how essences are made and tried and will have a collection of essences to use for yourself and your community.

The photo here is a tropical plant I made an essence of a couple years ago that we will be trying together.

Moving time!

I’ve been busy moving boxes of tinctures, dried herbs, herbal products and all the tools needed to make the magic happen! All that is left to move is the furniture. Some of the white shelving is for sale and there may be a few other things in the future. DM me for details.

I’ll be taking a break for a few weeks to visit some friends, before I get set up again to see clients. Thanks everyone for your patience as I navigate this transition! 💜 🌱

Spent the day teaching with at the beautiful herb garden today!

I love sharing what I’ve learned over the years working with the medicines. I feel so grateful I get to share space with folk who appreciate the magic of plants 🌱

✨ FEATURE MAKER ✨ makes blown glass including vases, glasses, bottles and pendants. Check out the stock in store Fridays from 1-4 and Saturdays from 10-4 for July and August. These photos don’t do justice to the handmade blown glass pieces made by this amazing artist. Each piece is carefully blown and etched by hand. The pendants are one of a kind amulets filled with plants for magic and protection. ✨

🌱 ✨ Shout out to one of my fav anti-virals as we navigate cold and flu season, rising COVID cases and removal of mask policies in health care settings 😔

Thyme has been shown to be one of the most broad spectrum antivirals; this means it works on a wide range of viruses. So when we don’t know what we have this is a great go to! It’s also anti-microbial and a great lung herb.

To use this plant medicine I like to make a strong tea with 2tbsps thyme for each litre of water. Make sure to steep covered to not lose those important volatile oils.

Did you know?? An extract from Thyme is found in the only natural commercial cleaner that was approved against COVID. Its what we use as a surface disinfectant in the clinic.

Pairing thyme with chamomile in an infusion boosts the anti microbial properties of this drink and tastes really yummy. Don’t forget vitamin C, D and zinc are super important for immune function.

Remember that nothing replaces rest when we are sick so make sure to stay home, stay in bed and sleep as much as you can 💜
