Athletes and sports enthusiasts often suffer muscle sprains, ligament sprains, dislocations and fractures. Electrical modalities, ultrasounds, massage, strengthening, stretching and range of motion (ROM) exercises are all treatment options that have proven effective for these types of
Accidental injuries, whether they be motor vehicle or work-related, can be treated with physiotherapy. While specific methods rely on the injury in question, your physiotherapist will focus on reducing your pain and optimizing healing.
Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but it causes many changes to a woman’s body. Back pain, pelvic pain and urinary tract incontinence are common complaints we hear from pregnant (and recently pregnant) women. Training programs designed by physiotherapists have been proven effective at treating these issues.
Fifteen percent of Canadians have problems with chronic pain that begins as a minor injury and never heals. Physiotherapists are specially trained in assessing this pain and restoring everyday mobility.
