Resident Doctor Awareness Week - meet Dr. Liam Redden

"I was born in Halifax and grew up in Tantallon, NS. I finished my undergraduate degree at Saint Mary’s University followed by medical school at Dalhousie. I’m thrilled to be doing my family medicine residency on the South Shore, mostly in Liverpool. I’m very happy to train in more rural settings where I really get to feel like a part of the community. Nova Scotia is and always will be home and I’m excited to be able to give back to the place that raised me.

Outside of medicine, I love to get out into the woods bird-hunting with my german shorthaired pointer. I also enjoy fishing, golf, off-roading, enjoying the beautiful South Shore beaches and spending time with my 10 month old baby boy."

If you see Liam in the hospital, a clinic or in the community, please extend a warm South Shore welcome!

Same Week Appointments for Patients Who are on Need a Family Practice Registry. Please call Monday and Tuesday afternoon 1pm to 3pm to book appointments for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
