🫶Stretch Saturday! What to do with the worst weather .... The world's greatest stretch! It is a dynamic, full-body stretch that targets hips, hamstrings, thoracic spine, and multiple other muscle groups, making it an ideal pre-workout mobility exercise or just a great stretch!

The world's greatest stretch is a multi-joint dynamic stretch designed to improve mobility, flexibility, and coordination in a single flowing sequence. It combines a deep lunge, hip flexor stretch, hamstring stretch, and thoracic rotation, addressing common mobility restrictions in one movement. Fitness experts recommend it as a comprehensive warm-up for lifting, running, or other athletic activities because it mobilizes key areas like the hips, thoracic spine, hamstrings, core, and shoulders while also engaging balance and body awareness.

Start standing with feet hip-width apart.
Step forward with your right foot into a deep lunge: right knee bent at 90 degrees, left leg extended back with knee just above the floor. Place both hands on the floor inside your right foot.
Elbow inside the knee: Drop your right elbow toward the floor inside your right foot to open the hip.
Torso rotation: Rotate your right arm up toward the ceiling, opening your chest and twisting your torso. Look at your hand.
Hamstring stretch: Return your right hand to the floor, straighten your right leg by pushing your hips back, and pull your toes toward your shin.
Return to lunge: Bend your right knee back to the deep lunge, then step back to standing.
Switch sides and repeat. Perform 3–5 reps per side as a warm-up.
