To The Core Pilates and Nutrition is a locally owned studio that turns 17 this year!

Located just west of the downtown core we are massive supporters of our local charities as well as huge advocates for Discover Lloydminster and Think Lloyd First programs. Owned and operated by Donna Schellenberg, we began as a small family oriented facility which has grown with her own family over the years. We treat our clients as a part of our family and believe everyone that steps through our doors deserves the absolute best of what we have to offer. Our purpose has always been to awaken a life of limitless joy in others. Although that may sound strange to some, our clients have overcome massive obstacles that impacted every area of their lives. When you're in pain it's tough to enjoy life. It's difficult to move well, do the activities you love with the people you love the most. Often pain impacts incomes and jobs. Most often it impacts our relationships, our sense of self worth and our confidence. Finding joy in moving again gives people back their freedom and a new outlook for the future. We are proud to help people do just that. At To the Core Pilates & Nutrition it is our mission to encourage lifestyle choices that will improve health over the long term and to improve the quality of life of every client. We offer Therapeutic Pilates and specialize in pre and post natal health as well as post rehab care for hip and knee replacements as well as spinal issues such as scoliosis or disc herniations. To the Core also offers personalized Nutrition Coaching. We work with you to develop smart, effective eating choices to meet your fitness and health goals. Together, we will develop and analyze your habits, dietary needs, and track your progress with the support and resources you need. We believe in creating healthy and sustainable habits that last a lifetime and creating realistic goals and expectations for ourselves. No quick fixes or "no pain, no gain" workouts to be found here. We teach our clients to be proactive about their health, listen to their own bodies and to become advocates for their own health and wellness.

Osteoarthritis is a common form of arthritis that causes joints to become stiff and painful. Any joint can be affected, but hips, knees, and the small joints of the hands are most often impacted. It typically develops in the late 40s to mid 50s and is more prevalent in women.

Pilates is an excellent exercise option for those with osteoarthritis because it is low impact and helps improve joint mobility, strength, and overall function. It’s a full-body movement practice that connects every action back to core stability.

Progressive, consistent exercise is key to managing pain and maintaining mobility. At To The Core, we focus on building a strong foundation in Pilates through gradual progressions, repetition, and attention to proper technique.

Healing Inside Out is passion project at To The Core. We developed this program from scratch to help clients get permanently out of pain and get back into their lives.
