5 simple things you can do today for your mental health 💆‍♀️💭

1. Take a mindful walk – Step outside (even briefly) and focus on what you see, hear, and feel. Fresh air and movement can clear your head and reduce stress.

2. Write down 3 things you’re grateful for – It can shift your focus from what’s going wrong to what’s going right, even if it’s small stuff like good coffee or a sunny sky.

3. Set a tiny goal and complete it – Whether it’s making your bed, drinking more water, or doing a 5-minute stretch, small wins can help you feel more in control.

4. Unplug for 30 minutes – Put your phone away and do something screen-free: read, doodle, journal, or just sit quietly. Your mind needs downtime.

5. Breathe deeply for 2 minutes – Try box breathing (inhale 4 seconds, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4). It can calm your nervous system and reduce anxiety almost instantly.

Let’s talk about the difference between prebiotic & probiotic 👇

🦠 Probiotics are the good bacteria that live in your gut. They support digestion, immunity, and mood. Think of them as the beneficial microbes keeping your gut ecosystem balanced. You can find them in fermented foods.

🌿 Prebiotics are the food for those good bacteria. They’re a type of fiber that helps them grow and thrive. They’re found in foods like garlic, onions, bananas, and oats.

Try adding both to your routine for better digestion, stronger immunity, and happier hormones!

Happy Monday! Let’s give your nervous system and cortisol levels a little love this week 🤍

Monday: Deep breathing activates your parasympathetic nervous system. This promotes rest and relaxation, helping to reduce cortisol and set a balanced tone for the day. Try box breathing (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4).

Tuesday: Eating within an hour of waking & including protein, fiber, and healthy fats to your meal helps keep your blood sugar and cortisol steady all day. This will aid energy, mood, and reduce cravings.

Wednesday: Restorative movement and spending time in nature have both been linked to lower cortisol levels and reduced stress.

Thursday: A wind-down routine helps your body shift from stress mode to rest mode, lowering cortisol and supporting restful sleep. Herbal teas like chamomile, lavender, or holy basil calm the nervous system and promote relaxation.

Friday: Morning sunlight exposure helps to balance circadian rhythm and cortisol release.
