When should you take a Hesed prenatal class? 🤰💛

Most parents love joining in the 2nd trimester — and we totally agree! 🙌 It’s the perfect time because you’ll still have plenty of space to practice what you learn and feel confident heading into birth. 📚✨

That said… it’s truly never too early or too late!
We’ve had families take the class before anyone even knew they were pregnant 🤫 — and we’ve had couples join us the day before their scheduled induction! 😅

So really, take the class whenever it works best for you 💕
(But if you’re asking us… 2nd trimester is our favorite sweet spot 😉🍯)

But research says otherwise—so hear us out 👇

Water birth isn’t a trend… it’s a fantastic and protective birth 🧠💙

🌊 Reduced pain
🌊 Lower use of epidurals & other pain meds
🌊 Shorter labours
🌊 Lower risk of postpartum hemorrhage
🌊 Higher rates of intact perineum & lower rates of episiotomy, vacuum, and forceps
🌊 Greater maternal satisfaction

Building birth preferences for all birth scenarios. ✨🤍

Birth plans are wonderful, you SHOULD make one. But you know what’s even better? An informed, pre-thought out, moving list of birth preferences for all birth scenarios. 📝💭

Birth can unfold in such mystery. But research shows that when moms and families thoughtfully think through the ways birth could go and come up with preferences within the option they will be presented with, they feel empowered, they feel more positive with how their birth went and they actually have better maternal and newborn outcomes. 💪🏾

Go into birth knowing your options, knowing what you might be offered and knowing your preferences within those options. You need a firm foundation of birth knowledge as a great place to start! That’s why childbirth ed is a non-negotiable for expectant parents. This pregnancy, join us for a childbirth ed class to give you that firm knowledge foundation. 📚✨
