We at NavOn have an amazing multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to meet your needs. Unfortunately, the integrity of one of these professions is now at risk due to short-sighted changes being proposed by the CPBAO, which would significantly reduce training for Psychologists and Psychological Associates. Our team of social workers, clinical case managers, psychometrists, psychotherapists, affiliated speech language pathologists, physicians, and psychologists all bring different, but uniquely important, skills and experience to our organization. We pride ourselves on the level of training and expertise of our psychologists, and we do not want our community to lose faith in these team members due to these proposed changes. After all, you would not want an inexperienced contractor building your house, would you? Please vote “No” in the CPBAO survey before Dec. 9 to maintain the high level of training and care provided by Psychologists and Psychological Associates in Ontario!

Feeling anxious about going back to school is normal! With the support of London’s Crazy About Mental Health and ConnexOntario’s Mind Your Mind, local writers Sean Donaghey and Christopher Sweeney and illustrator Dave Shephard have created a great graphic novel for teens depicting the challenges and anxieties of high school and ways teens cope with the “weird” feelings they may be experiencing.
