Our federally certified school offers workshops, classes and certification courses for a plethora of topics from aromatherapy to reflexology. We teach in our gardens during the warm weather and also go off site to teach lunch and learns or workshops. Our alternative clinic offers a variety of healing services that considers the whole person - body , mind, spirit and emotions - in a quest for optimal health and wellness. According the holistic medicine philosophy, one can achieve optimal health - the primary goal of holistic medicine practice - by gaining proper balance in life. Our team ensures that you have a the finest service by offering a unique multi-disciplinary approach, combining a variety of natural healing methods to successfully treat today’s health concerns. Rest assured the you will be in a safe, comfortable atmosphere; that all treatments are confidential and our primary focus is your well being. Most of our services are covered by Extended Health Care Insurance and we do offer direct billing. Dried Flowers
Whenever I think of flowers, it normally brings me back to a special occasion in my life. Whether it was a first date, prom, graduation or a wedding - I’ve received (and given) flowers for most of those events. Most people think that once flowers die, they’re gone forever but truly, they are timeless. My favourite way to use flowers once they are dry is in an arrangement, in a frame on the wall or as a potpourri mix that will always remind me of a special memory. Make sure to label them with each memory they represent.
To dry your flowers, follow these easy steps.
Remove the leaves and foliage around.
Group your flowers and tie them together ¾ down, toward the base.
Attach the flowers to a curtain rod, stick or hook - any place that is convenient for your flowers to be.
Hang the flowers to dry for 3 to four weeks.
