You’ve designed your foundation. Now it’s time to build the structure!

This full-day immersive workshop is designed for TR practitioners who are ready to move from ideas to implementation. Grounded in real-world JJRT experience, Business Mechanics focuses on the practical and ethical realities of running a private practice with intention, care, and sustainability.

Together, we will explore pricing, registration, service design, systems, and long-term viability through transparent teaching, case-based learning, and hands-on mapping exercises. Participants will leave with a clear business blueprint that aligns values with practice and vision with structure.

This workshop is practical, reflective, and deeply rooted in authenticity, offering clarity, tools, and confidence to support the next stage of your practice.

Imagine a place where leisure is about care, connection, and being welcomed as you are - with the freedom to choose what feels right for you.

This is what your membership unlocks!
A space to show up as you are, explore what brings you ease and meaning, and be part of a growing community centred on care and leisure.

Here’s a look at what lives inside the Leisure Learning Lab:

✨Literary Society
A shared space for reading, reflection, and conversation. We gather around stories, sometimes books, sometimes lived experiences, and explore meaning together at a pace that feels supportive and welcoming.

✨Co-Creation S**ce
A shared environment for working alongside others. Whether creating, planning, or simply being present, this space supports connection without pressure and productivity without expectation.

✨Film Club
An intentional viewing space where film becomes a starting point for connection. Together, we watch, reflect, and talk about what resonates, what surprises us, and what stays with us long after the screen goes dark.

✨Community Artivism
Where creativity meets community care. This space invites participants to explore social themes through art, using creative expression as a way to reflect, connect, and contribute to collective conversations.

✨Small Comforts
A space rooted in care and attention to the small things. This workshop invites participants to create objects that offer grounding, calm, and personal comfort, reminders that care can be simple and deeply personal.

✨Fidget Factory
Designed for hands-on exploration, this space focuses on sensory engagement and regulation. Participants create tools that support focus, self-soothing, and expression, while learning more about what their bodies need.

✨Drum Circle
A rhythmic space for movement, sound, and shared energy. The Drum Circle is about coming together, listening to one another, and forming connections through rhythm and shared experience.

✨Game Room
A relaxed and playful space that brings people together through shared play. Games here are about connection, laughter, and creating moments of ease within the community.

And there is so much more to come!

This is more than a list of programs.
It’s a space to belong, to explore, and to grow alongside others.

If this feels like something you want to be part of, we’d love to welcome you inside the Lab.

Every movement is built one small step at a time, and these tiers are the first steps into bringing the Leisure Learning Lab to life.

From a $9 Quiet Rebel pledge to curated experiences and community passes, each tier reflects intention, accessibility, and the heart of what we are creating. Every contribution helps shape this new Centre and the programming, learning, and community spaces it will hold.

We would be deeply grateful for your engagement and for anyone who feels called to take part in this chapter with us.

Calling all practitioners, educators, and community leaders!

We’re excited to invite you to the Play in Practice Symposium on April 15, 2026, a virtual gathering rooted in connection, creativity, and the power of play.

This interactive learning experience is designed to bring people together across disciplines to share ideas, build transferable skills, and learn through doing, because play is more meaningful when it’s shared.

As we prepare for the symposium, we’re opening our Call for Speakers.
We’re looking for folks who bring lived experience, thoughtful practice, and hands-on approaches that centre community, inclusion, and meaningful play. If you have a session idea that reflects these values, we would love to hear from you.

Click the link in our bio to submit your session idea.
Let’s learn, play, and grow, together. ✨

London’s First Creative Sanctuary✨

Pottery, coffee, sensory rest, community.
The beginnings of the Leisure Learning Lab are taking shape in North London.

In this video, Jess shares the vision for these emerging spaces and the kind of learning, creativity, and connection they will hold. The walls are still bare, yet the possibility is already alive.

This is your chance to help shape it with us.
We are inviting our community to name and co-create the micro-spaces within the Lab through our limited-edition Founding Backer Passes on Kickstarter.

You can lock in your 2026 membership rate, add your name to the Founders Wall, and contribute to building a space you would love to return to again and again.

Shape the geography of the Leisure Learning Lab with us!!

As we step into this next chapter, we’re excited to share a first look at our new Centre — still in its raw beginning, still holding traces of its previous owner, and still transforming into the warm, intentional space we envision for our community.

Even at this early stage, you can imagine the circles, conversations, play, and learning that will soon fill every corner. These micro-spaces will become places of connection, rest, growth, and joy — and you have the chance to shape them with us.

When you name a micro-space within the Leisure Learning Lab, you’ll receive a permanent dedication plaque, a private tour once the Centre is complete, and an invitation to our Founders’ Reception — a heartfelt thank-you to those who believed in the vision from the start.

Click the link below to visit our Kickstarter page and begin naming the Geography of the Lab with us.
Thank you for being part of this journey as it unfolds. ✨

Painting by Intuition

Jessie Jones is a London Ontario based Contemporary Abstract Artist. Jessie enjoys creating thought provoking artwork that conjures self reflection and connectivity to nature.

Much of Jessie's work is inspired daily by mood, intentions, femininity and lessons being taught by the universe. Using various mediums to execute her work, Jessie loves to experiment and allow herself to enjoy the process without paying particular attention to the final product.

Jessie uses her artwork as a tool to ground herself and slow her pace down from her otherwise busy lifestyle as a full time Chef, mother of two daughters and Wife.
