To prevent rotator cuff tears, your brain needs to know exactly how to stabilize the joint in every possible position. This is called proprioception.

If you’re stabilizer muscles are “ slow” to react, the larger muscle muscles take over, creating friction and eventual wear and tear. This drill “ wakes up” the neural connection between your brain and your shoulder.

We want to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of our patients. 💙

Your referrals mean more to us than you know — whether you’ve recommended us directly to a friend or family member, or simply shared your experience in a Facebook group with someone you’ve never met, or posted a Google Review. Every kind word helps people find the care they need, and that truly means the world to us.

Hearing your positive experiences and kind feedback brings the biggest smiles to our faces and reminds us why we love what we do.

Thank you for trusting us with your care and for being such an amazing part of our community. We appreciate you more than words can say. 💙

Most people focus on the muscles they can see in the mirror. But the Serratus Anterior is the unsung hero of shoulder health.

When the Serratus is weak, your shoulder blade “wings” off your back. This creates a mechanical traffic jam every time you lift your arm, eventually leading to rotator cuff impingement.

If your mid-back is stiff, your rotator cuff doesn’t stand a chance. Think of your spine as the foundation of a house; if the foundation is tilted, the windows (or your shoulders) won’t open properly.

When we hunch over desks or phones, we lose the ability to extend our spine. This forces the humerus to pinch the rotator cuff tendons every time we reach overhead.

Pain is experienced differently for each person and doesn’t always look the same, EVEN if they have the same injury, xray, ct, etc.
