We held our largest Remembrance Day Service in Town Hall on Tuesday, uniting LTC and RH in a moment of reflection and gratitude. Together, we honoured the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for our lives and freedom. LEST WE FORGET.

What a Halloween it's been!!! We started with our Trunk or Treat event last weekend, followed by our pumpkin contest, our Haunted House (choose your scare level), our Halloween parties and finally handing out candy for the trick or treaters!
I'm happy to announce the winners of the costume contest on Long Term Care being the Lambeth Neighbourhood with their "Up" costumes.
The winners of the pumpkin contest were an individual submission on Retirement "Jack o'lantern" and on Long Term Care it was the ET pumpkin that belonged to the Byron Neighbourhood!
This takes so much work and creativity, thanks to everyone who worked hard to make this another successful year! Thanks also to Josine and Elvira who helped out outside the Recreation teams/Residents as well!

It's that time of year again! We need your vote! Please vote for your favourite pumpkin by commenting the number attached to the pumpkin. Pumpkins are posted in order 1 to 11. Online voting will end Thursday at midnight! You can vote in person until Friday at noon. Please note the pumpkins are numbered differently in the Villages then they are online! Good luck, may the best pumpkin win! So creative by everyone though, great job!

A BIG congratulations to Glendale Crossings very own, Amera Elnamara for winning Nurse Practitioner of the year, from Ontario Long Term Care Clinicians.
Amera’s engagement with residents, families, and colleagues is exemplary. She is frequently sought out due to her extensive knowledge, compassionate nature, approachability, and personable demeanor. Amera consistently delivers detailed, accurate information while maintaining a professional and empathetic bedside manner. Congratulations, Amera, on your well deserved win. We are very grateful to have you a part of our Village.

Today marks 2 years that our Retirement building has been open. We celebrated the best way we know how, with music and cake! Over the past 2 years, our Village has become more than just a retirement home — it’s a community full of laughter, friendship, and cherished memories. Every resident, past and present, has left their mark on our story and helped make this place feel like home. Here’s to all the special moments we’ve shared — and to many more years of joy and togetherness ahead!
