Trauma can trigger five different responses-
Fight, Flight, Freeze, Flop, and Fawn.

Each response is your body’s way of trying to protect you, even when it feels confusing or overwhelming. Understanding these responses can help us recognize our patterns, offering a path to healing and self-compassion. 🌱💛

Some days you’ll feel strong, other days you might feel like you’re back at square one, and that’s okay. Progress isn’t always visible, but every step counts. Be gentle with yourself, honor your pace, and trust the process. Your healing is unfolding exactly as it should. 💛

Bug T trauma examples include and are not limited to,

- Natural Disasters (e.g., earthquakes, hurricanes)
- Physical or Sexual Assault
- Serious Accidents (e.g., car crashes)
- War or Combat Experience
- Sudden Loss of a Loved One

Little T Trauma examples include and are not limited to,

- Chronic Criticism or Rejection (e.g., from a parent or partner)
- Bullying or Teasing during childhood
- Divorce or Breakup
- Financial Stress
- Moving to a new city or school

It is true, trauma can come in all shapes and sizes, what’s often referred to as Big T and Little T trauma. Both can leave a lasting impact, and both deserve recognition and healing.

Remember, no matter the size, your experiences are valid.
