Sitting in Recovery
Sensei Mike from The Zendo offers weekly meditation practices at EPIC Recovery as part of our ongoing recovery maintenance and well-being programming.
Meditation isn’t about clearing your mind or getting it “right.” In recovery, it can be a way of learning how to stay present with thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without immediately needing to escape them. Over time, this practice can support emotional regulation, stress tolerance, and a steadier relationship with oneself.
