Remember:

I would rather have a strong belief; and no talent, than pure talent and no belief.

Movement is life. This wasn't even jack's "warm up". He spent 30 minutes in the locker room, probably with a PT or Kin before hitting the range.

When is the last time you spent 45 minutes stretching before you tee it up? ⛳🏌️‍♂️

Some great, but difficult progressions here. Despite the prices, I love this piece of equipment. Carefully progress exercises by gradually breaking down the movement into its components and then mastering each of them before trying some of these BOSU ideas.

Positive lifestyle changes, such as prenatal exercise, can have positive effects on an offspring’s CV health. A growing body of literature suggests prenatal exercise may improve the intrauterine environment, which could decrease an infant’s long-term risk for CVD (Reyes & Davenport 2018).

Although early research suggested that prenatal exercise could be associated with adverse fetal outcomes including miscarriage or preterm birth (Madsen et al., 2007), recent evidence demonstrates the safety and benefits of moderate intensity exercise for both the mother and fetus.

Prenatal exercise is associated with a 40% reduction in GDM, excessive gestational weight gain (GWG) and macrosomia, all of which decrease the risk of childhood obesity, as well as lifelong CVD risk (Reyes & Davenport, 2018).

Currently, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC) and the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) recommend pregnant women accumulate a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate physical activity (MPA) spread across a minimum of three days per week (Mottola et al., 2018).

I think posture is even more important than ever given our current circumstances. Poor posture can cause preventable injuries or exacerbate existing ones. Set a phone timer to remind you to get up and stretch or move every 30 to 45 minutes.

Slouching‼️

“Stand or sit-up straight”. I am sure you’ve heard this at some point in your life🤔😏

I won’t preach to you I promise🙌👏I’d be calling the kettle black 🏴

In our society today very few people have perfect posture and the few that do, don’t have it all day long💯

We spend to much time these days sitting 🚙👩‍💻standing👨‍🏫💂‍♀️, or looking at our phones 🤳🏽📱that our neck and back muscles become weak & tight.

This in turn can lead to several common problems including: muscle strains 🤕, tears, migraines, chronic fatigue 🥵😴 or poor sport performance🏌️‍♂️🥉😢

Corrective or therapeutic exercise 🏋️‍♀️is one of the most effective ways to combat the negative effects of our daily routines 👍🏆

Use bands to perform simple and easy exercises 💪at the office, when you stretch your legs, take a break or even as a warm-up before you begin your workout or activity 🧗‍♀️

2 sets of 12-15 repetitions 😯performed frequently throughout the day will help strengthen 👍your back & neck and improve your posture🤗
