Happy December - this month can be a blessing for some and a emotional battle storm for others - I just love this advent of Kindness calendar to help remind us to always come from a place of kindness because we just never know what others might be going through and a simple act of kindness can sometimes be the only tether someone can hold onto in their day

OMG - who knew that zucchini is the new cauliflower in the low carb world? Seriously it can replace ANYTHING!

Earlier this week I made low carb sweet and sour “pineapple” chicken balls for the family - I replaced the pineapple with a fresh from garden green zucchini peeled and cut into pineapple size chunks - no one noticed! The zucchini took on the sweet tangy taste of the sauce and kept that cooked pineapple texture!

Tonight I made Low carb Faux Cranapple Crumble - swapped out the apples for a fresh from our garden yellow zucchini peeled and cubed into apple size bite and the 1/4 cup of Craisins even gave the zucchini a pink apple look! Tossed the zucchini with some cinnamon and wee bit of Swerve. Topped with crushed pecans, almonds and coconut, melted butter with cinnamon and swerve sugar alternative! I’m horrible no measuring just a eyeballing recipe 🤣

It’s the weekend! That means another creative challenge for those who might want to play along with me over in our FB community 💗

Nurturing one’s creativity is SO key to helping to ensure a healthy mindset … human beings are all born with an instinct to express themselves through creativity but sometimes external factors impede peoples abilty to engage in creative expression and so their full healthy mindset is also impeded! We need to get back to ensuring that everyone has at least ONE creative outlet for expressing themselves.

So here’s another instalment of the Weekend Creativite Challenge - each week I will post a photo prompt that you can use to get your creativity mojo going!

Ok so I have sensory issues around having clothing that feels restricting so I tend to choose tops that are big and flowy - so when Finds Boutique with Natalie suggested a cling to your skin bamboo tank top I was like umm I don’t know I don’t like tight tops but she was like “trust me try it on and just see” so I did - and wow! It feels like your naked the fabric is so breathable, it stays put yet moves with your body and the whole day I didn’t have to adjust it or anything!

Paired it with a caplet cause no spaghetti straps at work, a new chunky necklace and my leggings from Sweetlegs that I turned to capri length with a little tuck up trick!

Now I just need one in every colour 🤣

OK I Dove Right In and got some self care pampering time in this afternoon with new fingers and matching toes!

I’ve given myself a Lovee Dovee accent nail - thinking I want to eventually add some nail art to it! Just need to narrow down a choice cause there are so many choices in my head!

I could do an ombré of blue polka dots, a flowery or mandala stamping plate with Dove Right In tinted gel, the rainfall technique with blues/silver, a silver shimmer or Spectrum Chrome … how’s a girl to choose ??? 🤣🤣🤣

So many choices on my wishlist! What’s your vote???

The Deluxe Electric Griddle & Grill would allow us to start the day with beautiful, toasty, delicious grain free waffles made from scratch with healthy ingredients. In addition to making lunch paninis, bacon, steaks, burgers, or grilled veggies! Did I mention bacon??? There’s room for so much bacon!

Where as the Deluxe Multi Cooker on the other hand appears to be my IP on steroids! It includes everything we’d need to make breakfast, lunch, dinner, apps, snacks, and desserts and more without ever turning the oven on - very tempting as we head into summer!

It’s got so many features and preprogrammed settings - sterilize feature would be great for disinfecting my manicure/pedicure tools specially when lending out my kit to potential customers.

Plus I love a good bundle it has the Deluxe Multi Cooker, everything in the Sous Vide Accessories Set - cute egg bites, plus a Ceramic Pot so we can make a main dish and a side at the same time, a Glass Lid for cooking, warming, and storing, and the 5-star Chili Mix.

It’s gonna be a hot time in the ole town tonight!

This dished turned out PERFECT blend of sweet and spicy! A nice hot kick but nothing a little icecream for dessert to cool the palette couldn’t fix 🤣

Yummy! Seriously Heeman's has the BEST strawberries - well worth the drive out for a visit!
