January marks Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, and VON invites you to be part of this meaningful event. Our guest speaker, Jennie Wells, will share insights on understanding and supporting those living with dementia. We’ll also have representatives from the Alzheimer’s Society and Lifeline present.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your awareness and learn valuable self-help techniques. Don’t miss out!

Honouring Our Volunteers in Holiday Style!

What a fun-filled day it was at the VON Middlesex office in Strathroy on Dec 5th as we celebrated International Volunteer day with our incredible volunteers, during this year’s Holiday Drop-In.

Staff and Volunteers alike gathered in their festive attire. The event was alive with the joyous sounds of Christmas carols being sung, the aroma of warm cider, and heartwarming conversations filled the air. It was the perfect occasion to spread joy and express our deepest gratitude for the remarkable impact our volunteers make every day.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to all VON volunteers for the kindness and joy you bring as you show up each day, committed to making life better for those you serve. You are an inspiration to us all and appreciated beyond words! 💙
