The McCormick Care Group is a non-denominational charitable organization based in London, Ontario, providing compassionate care to the community.

McCormick Care Group operates McCormick Home, a long-term care facility for seniors; McCormick Dementia Services, to provide care and support to people living in the community with dementia and their care partners; and McCormick Dementia Research, to push innovation in dementia care and develop new ways to manage dementia for people and their families. While each plays a unique role in caring for those with dementia, they’re all guided by the same principles for providing compassionate care.

This week, we joined others across Ontario in recognizing the comfort, connection, and joy that adult day programs bring to people living with dementia and to their care partners.
At our program, we see these moments every day: the laughter during activities, the friendships formed over coffee, and the peace of mind that comes when care partners know their loved ones are safe, engaged, and supported.

To our participants, you inspire us with your warmth, creativity, and sense of humor.
To our care partners, your strength and compassion mean the world to us.
To our incredible team, thank you for caring with heart and for creating a space filled with dignity, respect, and purpose.

Adult day programs are more than a service. They are communities built on connection, care, and meaningful engagement.

What began as a vision has now come to life, a dedicated space for innovation, education, training, and care at McCormick Care Group.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Beverley Zaifman for her generous support in making this Centre a reality.
This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey, one that empowers our team, clients, residents, families, Care partners, and community through continuous learning and collaboration.

We had the privilege of participating in an Aging Simulation Workshop led by Anita and Susan from the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners (ALZSWP) at the Bernie and Beverley Zaifman L&D Center at McCormick!
This immersive experience allowed us to step into the shoes of older adults — deepening our compassion, understanding, and insight into age- and dementia-related challenges.
Let’s continue fostering respect, empathy, and relationship-centered care in everything we do.

We’re looking for volunteers to join us for our Fall Garden Clean-Up Day at the McCormick Dementia Services.
Come spend the day outdoors, help refresh our gardens for the new season, and make a difference in our community.
