A fond farewell and huge thank you to Blackfriars Bistro & Catering as Chef Bryan Lavery prepares to retire in a few days. Bryan pulled out all the stops on April 15th supporting Taste For Life - donating 25% of sales to the regional HIV AIDS program.
Bryan is our food writer at large and he plans to spend more of his time writing now that he’s closing Blackfriars. We will all miss the incredible cuisine of Blackfriars but we salute Bryan and the staff for an amazing 30 years!

Our Story

Eatdrink is a proudly local food and drink magazine serving London, Stratford and Southwestern Ontario since 2007. We are also the folks behind the Local Flavour Southwest Ontario Culinary Guide.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, we are on hiatus but doing our best to share the news of our culinary community through our social media channels. We know we will all get through this challenging time, and we will be back stronger than ever with a reinforced appreciation of the creative people in the hospitality industries.

Stay safe, follow the guidelines, and as usual, support local business with your wallet, your choices, and your voice. We’re all in this together.
