Needed: Morning & Evening Support (Westmount Mall Area)

Role: Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Location: Near Westmount Mall, London, ON
Schedule: Daily – 11:00 AM & 8:00 PM (approx. 1 hour per visit)
Flexibility: We are looking for one or two reliable individuals. You can apply for both daily shifts or specify your availability for either the morning or evening.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable, physically strong, and experienced PSW to assist an elderly male client with specific daily mobility and medical needs. This is a consistent, opportunity for the right candidate(s).

Key Responsibilities:
Mobility Support: Assisting the client with transfers in and out of bed.
Physical Requirement: Must be capable of safely lifting/supporting up to 150 lbs during transfers (utilizing proper body mechanics).
Ostomy Care: Assisting with the cleaning and/or changing of an ostomy bag.

Requirements:
Experience as a PSW or Healthcare Aide.
Demonstrated experience with Ostomy care is mandatory.
Physical stamina and mastery of safe lifting techniques.
Reliable transportation to the Westmount Mall area.

For our beloved seniors, here are some tips on how you can help feed and care for these furry friends during the winter:

1. **Provide Food:** Offer nuts like unsalted almonds, pecans, and walnuts. Avoid giving them peanuts as they can be harmful.
2. **Keep Water Available:** Ensure there's a fresh supply of water in a shallow dish. Squirrels, like all animals, need hydration.
