Dr. Poeta completed an undergraduate honours specialization degree in kinesiology and a masters degree in kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario.

She then went to New York Chiropractic College to become a doctor of chiropractic. While at New York Chiropractic College she earned Advanced Certificates in Sport Science and Human Performance as well as Whole Foods Nutrition. She has worked on the sidelines of different sports teams including the North Bay Bulldogs Football Team, the Sarnia Imperials Football Team and Elmira Pioneers Baseball Team preventing, assessing and treating a wide array of sports injuries. She is also certified with RockTape and will work with you to get you back in the game quickly. Aside from specializing in sports injuries, Dr. Poeta is also certified in Webster Technique with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Webster is a prenatal chiropractic care technique that is safe for both the mom and the baby. This technique specializes in sacral alignment to create an ideal environment for your little baby. Dr. Poeta is on the referral list from the Motion Palpation Institute for sharing the ideals of functional assessment and care for the spine and extremities. She is well versed in various different soft tissue techniques and methods to relax the muscles associated with injuries and dysfunction. She has also completed her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) and utilizes many of these stretches and exercises with her patients to maintain and improve strength, range of motion and stability. Her background in kinesiology, field experience with injuries and desire to learn new and upcoming treatment methods have built a foundation for unique, individualized care to help get you out of pain as quickly as possible.

Happy 2nd birthday Mobilita!!!

What an amazing two years it has been. There are no words to express how rewarding it has been to watch my business grow from nothing.

I had my logo made almost 3 years before I opened my clinic. This business existed in my mind long before I opened its doors for the first time.

It was always a matter of when not if I was going to open this clinic. I knew nothing about payroll, bookkeeping, literally anything that had to do with running a business outside of being a chiropractor. A few weeks before I opened the clinic, I asked my husband if it was a bad idea and he just laughed (probably thinking a bit late for that thought). He never had an ounce of doubt in my dream and always encouraged me when many people probably thought I was crazy opening a business in the middle of a pandemic.

This clinic started with just me and now I am so lucky to share this space with the best practitioners around (.daniellesmith .rmt ). The whole team here makes every day at work a blast.

To all the patients that have stepped foot in this clinic, thank you! Thank you for making my dream a reality.

I am beyond grateful for everyone who has supported Mobilita over the past two years.

Postpartum Rehab is back!!!!

To anyone interested in signing up for the upcoming session starting September 13th, send a DM or email info@mobilita.ca.

This program may be safe for you even before that six week clearance, depending on your birth method and delivery experience. Reach out if you would like more information on whether or not it will be safe for you.

Learn how to properly heal your body while working towards getting back to physical activity properly and safely.

And as always, babies are welcome to attend! I’ve been peed on, puked on and pooped on without having to stop the classes so please don’t hesitate to sign up because you’re worried about childcare. We always adapt! 😂

And let’s not forget, moms are athletes too! And we are here for you! 💪🏼

Thanks to the Rowbust Dragon Boat Team of breast cancer survivors for putting on an amazing event for a great cause.
