🌟 Happy Dietitians Day! 🌟
In celebration of Nutrition Month and Dietitians Day, we’re sharing some inspiring words from TVFHT dietitian, Iman Gheriany:
“Nutrition is more than calories, meal plans, or food trends. It’s not about perfection; it’s about building sustainable habits that support long-term health and overall well-being.
As a dietitian, I see my role as a bridge between science and everyday life. This means translating complex, evidence-based information into practical lifestyles that individuals can maintain. Evidence-based nutrition is powerful, but only when it’s accessible, culturally relevant, and sustainable. My goal is to make healthy eating realistic, inclusive, personalized, and empowering.
During Nutrition Month and on Dietitians Day, we are reminded that our profession extends far beyond food. Dietitians play a critical role in cutting through misinformation, supporting disease prevention, managing chronic conditions, enhancing quality of life, and helping individuals build healthier relationships with food.
Healthy eating doesn’t need to be extreme or restrictive. Often, it’s the small, consistent habits that create the most meaningful and lasting impact. I’m proud to be part of a profession that empowers individuals and communities to make informed, confident decisions about their health.”
💚 Thank you, Iman, and all dietitians, for your dedication and support in helping us live healthier, happier lives!
