You’re functioning.
You’re showing up.
You’re doing what needs to be done.
You assume whatever you’re feeling doesn’t count.

➰Not feeling “bad enough” doesn’t mean you don’t need support.
It usually means you’ve gotten very good at carrying things alone.

➰I see this so often in women who have been forced to stay steady no matter what was happening around them.

It’s a body that’s been on duty for a long time.

👉If you know someone who keeps saying “I don’t know why I’m so tired,” share it with them.

I hear you…

“I’m burnt out.”
“I don’t know what’s wrong.”
“I should be fine by now.”
“I just feel… off.”

That’s usually the clue.

➰Especially if you’re empathetic, a parent or someone who learned to stay composed early in life…your body learns quickly that staying alert is safer than relaxing.

➰From the outside, it looks like you’re doing everything right and yet, there’s this sense of flatness that’s hard to explain.

〰️It’s because you’ve been carrying everything alone for a very long time. Over time, the nervous system learns to stay alert and responsible, even when there’s not an immediate reason to be.

➿This is often the moment where healing shifts. It stops being something you manage on your own and becomes something you’re allowed to receive.
