This is Adnan.

He is the SECOND winner from our Gift of Hearing holiday campaign, and we were thrilled to award such a deserving recipient with this life-changing prize.

Adnan is a devoted husband and father whose entire family nominated him. We will share their stories in an upcoming blog, and promise you will be as touched as we were.

Today was the first step - a thorough medical history, examination and hearing assessment. Now that we know what Adnan needs (and what he's already tried, unsuccessfully) we can customize a treatment plan that will deliver the outcomes he deserves.

Ah, the freedom and absolute thrill that came with walking (dare I say, strutting) down the street with this baby on your hip and those soft foam headphones blasting into your ears.

We were young, wild and bulletproof!

At least we thought we were ... many of us are paying the price now with difficulty hearing in background noise, and struggling to understand dialogue on the TV.

Remember Robert?

He is one of our ReSound Gift of Hearing winners and we posted his story a few weeks ago. We were thrilled to see him again recently for his fitting.

Our Hearing Instrument Specialist, Cassie, took her time as always, making sure everything was perfectly customized to Robert's unique hearing and lifestyle needs.

We'll see him again soon to monitor how he's doing in the real world, go over more options, and set him up with his aural rehabilitation app. Then we will start his regular treatment schedule. We look forward to caring for Robert and his hearing health for a long time to come.

It was an amazing evening out with (most of) Team Beck at this year's Cabin Fever Reliever Gala in support of Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.

Every year, we are touched by the lived experiences of families receiving support from the Alzheimer's Society and honoured to help them raise over $300,000. The event is one of our favourites, thanks to Layne and the staff at Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre.

🩷💙💚 We LOVE local! 🩷💙💚

Last week while everyone was sending Valentines to their sweethearts, we were crushing on a couple of AMAZING local, independent businesses.

Thanks to your nominations, we awarded our first ever "Love Local" favourites a certificate of recognition and some sweet treats for their teams.

Our winners were Roy's Coffee Shop in Strathroy, nominated by Paul Evans, and Sidetrack Café, nominated by Eleni Mai. We are so grateful to Paul and Eleni for participating in our Love Local campaign and nominating their favourite businesses.
