Our Story
The concept for The Manor Villages evolved over a decade from one man’s determination to develop the finest housing with a quality lifestyle for seniors.
Spurred into action by the changing needs of his mother Birdie Viola Mann, our owner and CEO Dr. Garth Mann personally visited almost 70 senior housing facilities across Canada and the United States. He did this to familiarize himself with the industry, assess what was currently provided for senior independent living, and then to refine and improve that lifestyle for the future Manor Villages.
In 1997, our first community became a reality - The Manor Village at Signature Park, proudly dedicated in loving memory of Birdie Viola Mann. Today, there are Manor Village Life Centres in Calgary AB and London ON, offering exceptional senior living in an active and caring community.
