🎄 A Truly Wonderful Day! 🎶

We had an amazing day listening to the talented choir from Longue Sault Public School. The students serenaded our residents with beautiful Christmas songs, and everyone absolutely loved it. It was truly heartwarming to see the confidence and talent of these young singers performing in front of such a wonderful audience. Their voices brought so much joy and holiday cheer.

In addition to singing, the students also shared handmade Christmas cards with our residents. It was lovely to see how happy the residents were as they read the thoughtful messages and funny Christmas jokes inside each card.

A big thank you to Ms. Penny from Longue Sault Public School for bringing these wonderful and talented students to share their gift with us.

In the afternoon, residents continued the fun by enjoying a friendly game of bowling, making it a day filled with smiles, laughter, and great memories.

🎄✨ What an Amazing Residents’ Christmas Party! ✨🎄

Today was truly a day to remember at Sunset Cove! Our residents, families, and staff came together to sing, laugh, dance, and celebrate the Christmas spirit. The joy and energy in the room were simply wonderful!

A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing staff who worked tirelessly to prepare delicious food, organize gifts, and ensure everything ran smoothly so our residents could fully enjoy this special day. Your dedication and care made all the difference.

From the Sunset Cove staff, residents, and families, we would also like to extend a huge thank you to Cowboy Mark, proudly sponsored by BRUCE ANDERSON CONSTRUCTION, for providing fantastic entertainment. You truly had everyone smiling, singing, and dancing—we had an absolute blast! 🤠🎶

✨ “Sharing Joy, Spreading Blessings” 🎄

Aiming for the bullesye 🎯 💞
What an exciting and laughter-filled day we had! Our residents were in full competitive mode as they aimed for the jackpot in our twist on the classic punch cup game — this time using darts to hit the mystery cups! Inside each cup were surprises: chocolates, cash… and a few empty ones that kept everyone on their toes.

Everyone was so focused — especially those chasing the jackpot prize — and the excitement was contagious! One resident even joked, “It’s good for a scratch ticket!” which had the whole room laughing.

Congratulations to Doreen and Heather for hitting the cash prizes! 🥳
And truly, there were no losers today — every participant went home with chocolates as a sweet consolation.

A heartfelt thank you to our anonymous donor for providing the chocolates and cash prizes. Your generosity embodies the true meaning of Christmas — sharing and giving from the heart. May you be blessed tenfold for the joy you brought today. ❤️ Shout out also to Tony for donating his darts and Lori for suggesting the game.

Simple happiness truly makes the world go round. Our residents’ smiles are contagious—seeing them enjoy the games brightens our days and spreads positivity to everyone around. 💛
They were all in full concentration mode during shuffle games and bean bag toss, and as always, it was such a joy spending time with them.

For the past few days, the ladies have been busy in decoration, Christmas tree decoration 🌲 💞….. and this time, it was the gentlemen’s turn! 🎄✨ The men stepped up to the mission of decorating the Christmas tree—no backing down, all hands on deck 😊

We’re so grateful for these two wonderful men, Mike and Dan for bringing the Christmas cheer to life with their beautiful tree decoration. 🌟

Always a great time, always a grateful heart. ❤️

✨ A Magical Day at Sunset Cove! ✨

We had an absolutely wonderful time last Saturday celebrating with our Pancake Breakfast with Santa and the Grinch, followed by the Santa Parade in Ingleside! The day was filled with dancing, cheering, singing, and so many smiles.

Our amazing entertainers serenaded residents, families, friends, and visitors with beautiful Christmas songs, while everyone enjoyed delicious pancakes and some extra love from Willow the goat 🐐. One of the highlights was Santa and the Grinch’s grand entrance—Santa warmed every heart, posed for countless photos, and even sparked a fun moment when residents requested “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus!”

Our residents shone brightly as they performed “The 12 Days of Christmas,” and the Sunset Cove Choir sang their hearts out, making the morning truly spectacular.

In the evening, we proudly joined the Ingleside Santa Parade. With Christmas lights twinkling, festive music filling the air, and staff handing out treats and gift bags, it was a beautiful night to celebrate the season with our community.
