I graduated from Wellington College of Massage Therapy in 2002. I was trained in Therapeutic and Swedish Relaxation massage. I completed a foot Reflexology course through The Reflexology Association of Canada in 2006. I'm a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba and am cover under most private insurance companies. I've worked in various clinics over the last few years, but am now working out of my own clinic in Lorette, Manitoba.

It’s that time of year again and we’re thrilled to be spreading holiday cheer to seniors in our community who may be spending Christmas alone or without a loved one this year. We invite you to nominate a deserving senior by reaching out to laurie@rmtache.ca. Your generosity can bring joy to those who need it most. We’re also grateful for monetary donations to help make each gift bag special. Wishing a merry Christmas to our wonderful community members. 

Eligibility Criteria – Santa for Seniors (Tache Community)

Seniors in the Tache area may be eligible to receive a holiday gift bag if they meet one or more of the following:
• Are living alone or experiencing social isolation.
• Have limited or no family support nearby.
• Are coping with the loss of a loved one.
• Are facing financial hardship or other personal challenges.
• Have recently experienced a health issue, crisis, or major life change.
• Would benefit from an extra gesture of care and kindness during the holiday season.

Stress is a natural response to life’s changes, and while it can be positive, it often has negative effects like anxiety, sleep issues, anger and health problems.

Massage therapy helps reduce stress and promote relaxation by easing muscle tension, improving sleep, and improving overall health. Even a "relaxation massage" is clinically beneficial, as it lowers stress and anxiety, supporting physical wellbeing.
