These last few jobs in Mono and Caledon townships put a wrap on another successful season. We wrapped the last of our hazard removals, pruning and tree support system installation to correct a sagging twin stem birch, reconstructor pruning on one dawn redwood and seven assorted fruit trees, and tree protection barriers on Japanese maples, dwarf pines, yews and emerald cedars.

A few of the jobs we completed in the last few week. A severely fractured Manitoba maple limb in Alliston that required some precision rigging to land the limb safely, a structural, health and aesthetic prune of a fantastic honeylocust in Hockley Valley, and a grapple crane removal of 2 hazardous Manitoba maple trees in Adjala-Tosorontio. A few jobs from last week including some reduction, shaping and cosmetic pruning of a hornbeam hedge globe spruce and weeping beech, along with some bigger sugar maple climbs than included pruning of deadwood, limb reduction and support cable adjustment or replacement . One of the older cobra cables , improperly installed be another service provider, was it installed directly abutting the central stem, resulting in significant wear and failure of the cable. We replaced it with a new steel cable and a slightly different position to avoid any chance of wear. If your trees have support cables, ensure that you have them inspected regularly for these possible issues.. thanks Nick and Caroline for your assistance.
