Huge, MASSIVE turn out today at Province House to protest the Conservative government’s proposed cuts to Art & Culture.

I truly hope that will pause and listen to the feedback from Nova Scotians on this proposed budget. There’s no shame is listening to the citizens and the many, many experts who are against these cuts. As a matter of fact, it’s the role of government to do just that - hear from the people most affected, listen to the experts, adjust accordingly.

Halifax pals - our production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch is coming to you - and tickets are selling fast!! (Already 1/3 sold!!) Please come out and marvel at the talent of these two superstars and go along for the ride that is Hedwig’s wild story! It’s a rock musical and it’s awesome!

I saw this show in Toronto back in the day…then I got a part in the movie version 🎉…then my whole storyline was cut, because Hollywood thought I was too dark. 😭🤷🏻‍♀️😆 Now I get to direct it and I can’t believe my luck!

We’ll be at the Bus Stop Theatre for three shows only March 6-7! 😁

PS. The “too dark” part is definitely NOT cut in our production…but I promise you’ll laugh, too!

I’ve been absent here lately. Lots going on. Some good, some most definitely not. However, the show must go on! And this evening I’ll be performing with my fantastically talented pals of at the Big Shiny Tunes Concert at ! Scroll through to see the line-up! We’re going on right after - literally a hard act to follow!! 💕🎶🎤 Nothing like music to lift the spirits in the depths of winter! Oh and puppies. Puppies also left the spirits!

We opened LOVE LETTER last night at the Bluenose Lodge. What a privilege to direct my incredibly talented LTC colleagues and in this beautiful play (Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominee, no less!). 🎭

The show runs Thursday-Sunday until Nov. 23rd and is presented as a play with dinner! The three course meal is delicious, by the way! Reserve your ticket by calling 902-634-8851.

And that’s a wrap on Tiny Beautiful Things. It was a true privilege to bring this show to Lunenburg and to have the opportunity to play Sugar. Thank you to my colleagues in for trusting me with this amazing role. 🥰

In true collective style we tore down our beautiful set today. After a little rest, we’ll be into the next thing…!
