Universal Ostridge Farm CfIA and RCMP predicament stems from food shortages within the RCMP across Canada. Why so secrative about how many ostridges are still alive? When everyone can see they are missing and large bins are being removed from bird area everyday by RCMP and hidden from sight. Dig a little bit deeper and it's not hard to see the birds are valuable to the RCMP much like eating a big tasty steak. Dig harder and you will find that the RCMP are fed very well by the department from secret mess dining halls feeding up to 800 people a day with 3 meals a day....well that is a lot of meat. How much does an ostriches weigh? 300 pds each and there was 400 of them! That is 12000 pounds of meat. About what the red seal chefs need to feed the whole department in just a few days. Wouldn't it be convenient for RCMP department heads to find good free meat through the CFIA policies. Food for thought.
