Guess who’s back! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Ben Hirtle back to our team. He spent the last couple of years working in the community, and we’re so lucky to have him returning part time, one day per week.

We’re doing a Holiday Food Drive for our local community Food Bank!! From now until December 12th bring in a non perishable food item and your name will be entered into our draw for one of two free therapy sessions at Compassionate Connections.

Some common food items needed:
White rice, boxed potatoes, canned fruits/vegetables, sugar, flour, canned soup, peanut butter, jam, and more.

Prize may be redeemed with your clinician of choice (minus Dr. Casey, sorry!)
Prize IS transferable to a friend or family member, but name of recipient must be provided to our office.
Prize must be redeemed by June 1, 2026, and holds no cash value.

Draw date : Monday, December 15th. Winners will be contacted.

Welcoming back one of our favourite familiar faces - Kaleigh!

Many of you remember Kaleigh from starting at Compassionate Connections as our former office manager while she completed her schooling. After excelling in her courses and practicum placement, we were overjoyed when she wanted to continue working with our clinic in a new capacity as a counselling therapist. Welcome back, Kaleigh! We are so happy to have you ☺️

We’ve signed up for additional direct billing to better serve our clients! Please let our admin team know you have private insurance at your next visit and they’ll be happy to submit on your behalf if your insurer is eligible.

Also a friendly reminder to our patients that there have been some changes to our parking lot. Parking spots are now marked by cement barriers. Be mindful of them when entering as the spots are no longer pull through.

You spoke; we listened! We have expanded our administrative hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to accommodate our evening clinicians booking needs, and provide more accessibility to our client base.

This means you will be seeing a new face behind the admin desk. Mellissa has joined the CC Team part-time and we are so excited to have her around!

We are always humbled and grateful for the communities support and trust in CC, allowing us to expand and improve access to mental health services on the South Shore. Thank you!

Compassionate Connections will be closed for Good Friday, and Easter Monday. Some clinicians have chosen to work one or both of these days, so if you are booked, proceed as usual! Just expect reduced operations in the office 🙂
