Here we are, sending good wishes to friends of Dynamic Balance near and far! Today is the last day of appointments for December. The first day of appointments for 2026 will be Wednesday, January 7th. We will be here at the centre from time to time over the holidays to respond to messages and voicemail, and to refresh the space for the new year!

MBU is very excited to be offering all-inclusive, all-ability soccer as part of our Winter PLAY program! Soccability is designed for kids who are Neurospicy and who have physical impairements.

First frosty morning—we know what’s coming! Our winter weather policy follows SSRCE—South Shore Regional Centre for Education. If local schools are closed, we are closed too. If roads are icy along your route, we can always reschedule. There is never a charge for appointments cancelled due to inclement weather!

Any stage postpartum!

Our free Restore Postpartum Rehab Program, offered in partnership with Our Health Centre in Chester, is BACK! This free, 8-week program is designed to help postpartum women improve their fitness, mental health, and pelvic health, through a therapeutic exercise program designed and led by a physiotherapist. Women are encouraged to attend at any stage postpartum (yes, even 10 years or 20 years postpartum). Please help us spread the word.

Many Autistic people are not lacking in social skills. Get a bunch of Autistic friends together and watch the magic happen.

Many of us are not lacking in humour or sarcasm. The funniest people I know are Autistic. Our humour may be different to yours.

Many of us have so much empathy that the feelings try to crush us. We might express that empathy differently to you.

We communicate. Our communication style is probably different to yours.

It’s not that we don’t have these skills.
It’s that we do them differently. They look different.

And they’re often unrecognisable to neurotypical folk.

But they are there.
