π THE COLD MOON & THE SEVEN SISTERS β December 3
β¨ A Celestial Moment With Serious Goddess Energy β¨
Tomorrow night, the Cold Moon steps onto the stage at 99% illumination, and sheβs not coming alone. Sheβs rising hand-in-hand with the Pleiades β the Seven Sisters β that shimmering little cluster of ancient starlight that has guided humans, myths, and wanderers for thousands of years.
Itβs giving:
golden moonlight + icy blue star-fire + winter magic + a cosmic wink from the Universe.
Honestlyβ¦ itβs a whole vibe.
π A Lunar Hide-and-Seek (a.k.a. an Occultation)
For many places across North America, Europe, and northern Africa, this isnβt just a βpretty moon moment.β
The Moon is literally going to slide right in front of some of the brightest Seven Sisters β as if sheβs saying, βDonβt worry girls, Mama Moonβs got you.β
During this rare occultation, she will briefly veil:
β’ Electra
β’ Merope
β’ Maia
β’ Alcyone
Depending on where you live (hello LA + San Francisco), sheβll drift through the heart of the cluster, making stars wink out and reappear at her shadowed edge. Itβs subtle, magical, and totally worth stepping outside for. Binoculars help, but honestly? Even without them, the energy is incredible π€©
π A Word About the Seven Sisters
These stars are young, wild, and fiercely bright β about 444 light-years away in Ta**us. Theyβve shown up in legends from every corner of the planet. Though we call them βSeven,β the cluster actually holds over a thousand starsβ¦ youβre just seeing the ones that feel like showing off.
β¨ A Moment to Step Into
Even if youβre not in the occultation zone, the Moon rising beside the Pleiades is one of those scenes that hits you right in the soul.
A little shimmering reminder that youβre part of something ancient, rhythmic, and beautifully timed.
Look to the eastern sky after dark.
Let the golden Moon and the blue-white Sisters wash over you.
Let it feel like a blessing, a reset, a whisper:
βYouβre right on time.β
A dance of winter light across a December sky β and a perfect moment to breathe, soften, and remember your own brilliance. ππ«
