For any of my Facebook friends and clients following...here is the update on the clinic. I am keeping in touch with what the recommendations are from both the Massage Therapists Association and the NS Cosmetology Association. Deciding to keep the business open for now is an individual decision. I am doing so because I have some control over who is coming in, and I know who has been on vacation anywhere (and must follow the self-retreat rule). Those clients are being rescheduled for later in the future.
In the meantime, I would ask that if you are feeling at all ill, please stay home and let’s reschedule your appointment. If you are feeling well, please know who you have been in contact with, and make smart decisions from there.
Upon entry, each client is being asked to thoroughly wash their hands.
I am using Lysol to wipe down all door handles, stair rails, chair arms, surfaces, faucet handles and the toilet after each client leaves. All massage table accessories are being cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant. All implements are thoroughly washed and disinfected in hospital grade solution for the prescribed amount of time.
Disposable cups will be available for drinking.
If you are still feeling the need to stay in self-retreat mode and want to cancel an appointment, please know that I fully understand. And if mandates change and I must shut down for a while, I will be in touch with you to reschedule.
