Dear Families,
We are pleased to offer you an opportunity to join Rhonda Lemire, Regional Coordinator with the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, for an informative session on dementia.
This session will cover:
• General information about dementia
• Common signs and symptoms
• Strategies for maintaining a healthier brain
• The progression of the disease
• Understanding and responding to responsive behaviors
The session is designed to help families gain a deeper understanding of dementia, how the disease progresses, and the changes your loved one may experience over time. The information shared can be very helpful in understanding different behaviors and supporting your family member with greater confidence and compassion.

To accommodate schedules, we are offering the following date:
March 23, 2026
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Floor 3 had a blast this morning playing Leprechaun Games.
Coin toss, pin the shamrock on the hat and balloon toss to some Irish pub music 🍀🌈

Coin Toss into the Pot of Gold 🌈and pin the shamrock on the hat. 🎩
Many laughs were enjoyed and looking forward to playing with floor 3 next.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🍀
Yesterday we kicked off our Irish theme week! We started with fun facts about Ireland and watched a video traveling and learning about Ireland. We played Irish word games, listened to the national anthem in Gaelic, watched highland dancers, and some had an intermission with Jack.
