Environment Canada has issued weather alerts for the region starting Thursday evening and lasting into early next week.🚛 City crews are prepared to respond to winter conditions.

What to Expect
🌧️ Up to 50mm of heavy rainfall by Friday
❄️ 5–15 cm of snow by Saturday + icy conditions + wind chill

Stay warm & safe:
🔥 Daytime warming centre at Greg Moore Youth Centre (Feb. 2 & 3, from 9 AM–5 PM)
🔥Heaters available at the Community Resources Hub during operating hours
🏠 Overnight shelters:
• Salvation Army (55 beds) – 9 PM–7 AM | Intake starts 1 PM (22188 Lougheed Hwy)
• Ridge Church (30 beds) – 9:30 PM–7 AM | Intake closes 3 AM
📍 Other resources: City rec facilities, Maple Ridge Library– Open during regular hours
