Episode 3 | Dr. Em talks menopause. Genitourinary symptoms are one of the least talked about parts of menopause… and they can significantly impact quality of life.

Hormonal shifts affect the tissues of the v***a, va**na, and urinary tract. When estrogen declines, those tissues can become thinner, drier, and more sensitive.

The good news is, we have lots of supportive options. From lifestyle support to localized hormonal therapies and integrative approaches, you do not have to suffer in silence.

Follow along as we talk symptoms, hormones, and the support available to help you feel like yourself again. 🩷

Did you know we can treat your chronic headaches and migraines with Botox?

Botox blocks pain signals and relaxes muscle tension in key areas (like the forehead, temples, and neck), which are often involved in migraine episodes.

This treatment is a great option for pain relief and helpful to decrease medication dependency while we work on any underlying issues.

You can book your therapeutic Botox appointment through my online booking, please note an assessment is required prior to your Botox appointment to go over the procedure, insurance, and any questions you may have!

When you see a naturopathic doctor who focuses specifically on women’s health, your symptoms are not brushed aside or treated in isolation. They are looked at as part of a bigger picture.

If you’ve ever felt dismissed, rushed, or told your labs are “fine” when you don’t feel fine, this kind of care can feel very different.

You deserve to feel heard. And you deserve support that goes deeper than surface-level solutions. 🩷

Some common perimenopause symptoms I see in clinic all the time.

Perimenopause can start earlier than many women expect, sometimes in their late 30s or 40s, and the symptoms are often misunderstood or dismissed as stress or burnout.

Changes in your sleep, mood, cycles, energy, anxiety, brain fog, and temperature regulation are not random, they are signals that hormone communication in your body is shifting.

Book a meet and greet if you’re feeling lost in your perimenopause journey or think you may be in perimenopause. 🩷
