I’m a naturopathic doctor, and I’m also human.

I forget my vitamins sometimes.
I enjoy a sugary treat.
I wear makeup and get my nails done.
I drink more caffeine than I probably should some days.
I deeply respect conventional medicine.
And I individualize every single plan for every patient that walks through my door.

Health was never meant to be rigid or all-or-nothing. It’s meant to be lived.
You can care deeply about your health and still be human.
That is the goal. 🩷

“Am I too young to be in perimenopause?”

This is one of the most common questions I hear as a naturopathic doctor with a practice focused on women’s health, and the answer often surprises my patients.

Perimenopause can actually begin up to 10 years before menopause, sometimes as early as your 30s. It’s not about a specific age, it’s about how your ovaries are communicating with your brain and how your hormones are shifting over time.

Your body is always communicating.
The goal is learning how to understand what it’s saying. 🩷

If you’re wanting to minimize those fine lines and wrinkles for Valentine’s Day, this is your reminder!

Botox takes 2–3 weeks to fully settle, so if you’re hoping for smooth, refreshed skin by mid-February, now is the time to book. 🩷

As someone who struggled with anemia for years, I know firsthand how much low iron can impact your life.

IV iron infusions can be a game-changer for those who don’t absorb or tolerate oral iron, and also help:

Restore iron levels more quickly than oral supplements
Improve energy and reduce fatigue
Support focus, memory, and brain fog
Reduce dizziness and shortness of breath
Support healthy hair, skin, and nails
Help with symptoms related to heavy periods
Benefit those who don’t tolerate or absorb oral iron well
Improve overall quality of life

If this resonates, it may be worth looking deeper and seeing if IV iron infusions are a good fit for you!

Save this if you think you may be struggling with low iron!

While we can order labs and prescribe you iron supplements, it’s also important to find out the why and what’s causing you to have low iron.

Some common causes include being vegan or vegetarian, heavy periods, and pregnancy. Less common causes that need more investigation include celiac disease, fibroids, or inflammatory bowel disease.

Ready to say goodbye to your low iron? Book a meet and greet! 🩷
