Woman to woman, hormone health is not something we start thinking about at 40 or 50. It is something we build over a lifetime.

Your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond all bring different hormonal shifts, but the foundation stays the same: supporting your body with sleep, nourishment, stress management, and understanding the signals it gives you.

Hormones are not working against you. They are constantly responding to your environment, your habits, and the season of life you are in.

When we start viewing hormone health as something to care for consistently, rather than something to fix when problems arise, everything changes.

Save this for later and share it with a woman in your life who deserves to feel supported at every stage. đź©·

Dr. Em talks menopause | Episode 6

Changes in libido and s*x drive are very common during perimenopause and menopause, but they are often one of the least talked about symptoms.

Hormonal shifts, changes in va**nal tissue, sleep disruption, stress, and mood can all influence desire and intimacy during this stage of life. And for many women, it can feel confusing or isolating.

The important thing to know is that these changes are common and there are supportive options available. Conversations around s*xual health deserve just as much attention as any other symptom.

Follow along as we talk symptoms, hormones, and the support available to help you feel like yourself again. đź©·

Hot girls get 7-9 hours of sleep every night to help support cortisol regulation

Hot girls move their body in ways that feel good (not punishing exercise)

Hot girls track their cycle to understand patterns and their body better

Hot girls prioritize stress management, because cortisol affects everything

Hot girls look for support when symptoms feel overwhelming

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is listen to what your body is telling you and give it what it needs, rest, movement that feels good, and support when things feel hard. đź©·

Episode 5 | Dr. Em talks menopause. Irregular periods are one of the most common symptoms women notice during perimenopause.

As hormone signaling between the brain and ovaries begins to change, cycles can become shorter, longer, heavier, lighter, or more unpredictable.

Some patterns we commonly see include:
• cycles becoming closer together
• skipped periods
• heavier bleeding
• spotting between cycles
• periods that feel different than they used to

While these changes can be a normal part of the transition, they should still be evaluated to make sure nothing else is contributing.

Follow along as we talk symptoms, hormones, and the support available to help you feel like yourself again. đź©·

When we shift from fighting our bodies to supporting them, we start asking better questions.

We become more curious about our hormones instead of frustrated by them. And that is when we begin to find solutions that actually work. đź©·

Episode 4 | Dr. Em talks menopause. Hormone testing in perimenopause is not going to give us the answers we’re looking for.

Here’s what we can look at instead:

Cholesterol
Liver function
Insulin
Blood sugar regulation
Iron levels

Follow along as we talk symptoms, hormones, and the support available to help you feel like yourself again. đź©·

The life I thought was just a “maybe” is now my everyday. Very grateful for the journey as well as every patient that allows me to be a part of their own journey. 🩷

Episode 3 | Dr. Em talks menopause. Genitourinary symptoms are one of the least talked about parts of menopause… and they can significantly impact quality of life.

Hormonal shifts affect the tissues of the v***a, va**na, and urinary tract. When estrogen declines, those tissues can become thinner, drier, and more sensitive.

The good news is, we have lots of supportive options. From lifestyle support to localized hormonal therapies and integrative approaches, you do not have to suffer in silence.

Follow along as we talk symptoms, hormones, and the support available to help you feel like yourself again. đź©·

Did you know we can treat your chronic headaches and migraines with Botox?

Botox blocks pain signals and relaxes muscle tension in key areas (like the forehead, temples, and neck), which are often involved in migraine episodes.

This treatment is a great option for pain relief and helpful to decrease medication dependency while we work on any underlying issues.

You can book your therapeutic Botox appointment through my online booking, please note an assessment is required prior to your Botox appointment to go over the procedure, insurance, and any questions you may have!

When you see a naturopathic doctor who focuses specifically on women’s health, your symptoms are not brushed aside or treated in isolation. They are looked at as part of a bigger picture.

If you’ve ever felt dismissed, rushed, or told your labs are “fine” when you don’t feel fine, this kind of care can feel very different.

You deserve to feel heard. And you deserve support that goes deeper than surface-level solutions. đź©·
