🤯
⚡️Often people ask if owning horses is expensive…that’s kind of a trick question. It all depends on the horses that you own. I have been lucky to own generally smart and sane horses. Which means they avoid doing dumb stuff which means their risk of injury is lower…though not no injuries. So the vet bills are lower.
⚡️Occasionally, smart, sane and spirited come together. The first horse was Sunny and Luke is the second one I have owned.
⚡️Horse dumb stuff is always done either in the evening, weekends or holidays and usually in the dark…so vet visits are even more expensive!😜. I swear that horses have a manual on their owners and this is chapter 1 😜
⚡️Notice how he walks on top of a 4 foot ledge that is a little slippery 🤦🏼♀️. So many questions…like Why…I could go on…
⚡️It seems he enjoys playing with my energy as he is noticing my blood pressure going up (true story! Check out the research by the Institute of Heart Math in California!) as I am persuading him to get off said wall.
⚡️Notice the broken rail…a story for another time
⚡️Notice how he has the big, brown innocent eyes as if to say - What’s wrong?
⚡️Oh Luke!!!
⚡️Fortunately today (so far), there will be no emergency vet visit.
⚡️For those of you lucky souls that will work for the rest of your life to support these magnificent creatures, do you have any stories of dumb stuff your beautiful horse has done? Please share with us!🤩
