🍁This past Saturday we gathered inside a cosy studio while the rain and leaves fell outside.🍂

✨We gathered to reconnect with ourselves and to reflect on releasing the old and inviting the new.✨

✨We started with a light yoga practice, ate some light food, listened to a guided release and acceptance meditation, , connected with Jack, Luke and Jojo and then read releasing and intention writings to Jack. We took our releasing writings and buried them deep into the manure pile…to let it all go!✨

When then went back into the studio to immerse in a beautiful sound bath meditation to bring the day together which was beautiful!✨

🌟Often taking some space for yourself allows you to be able to fully breathe, rest and relax and calm your mind and body….allowing for decisions and direction to become clear.🌟

✨Thank you to everyone who came out to take some much needed time for themselves. Thank you to for your nourishing yoga practice and sound bath meditation and your delicious cookies!✨

It was a weekend of learning and connecting with people who work with horses and clients in different modalities!

It was a great conference with knowledgeable speakers, wonderful horse demos and participants who were willing to share knowledge to help us all be successful in helping our clients.

I really enjoyed the keynote speaker of for her insights and research on how our horses can thrive!

World Mental Health Day…did you know?

It has been understood that mental health can affect your gut health, but did you know the opposite is also true? In fact, the gut has been called the 'second brain' as it has the largest collection of nerve cells in the body, and plays a major role in sending signals to the mind. The gut contains 90% of our receptors for serotonin, which is the mood and sleep-regulating hormone, and these receptors are constantly in contact with our gut microbiome. An imbalance in the gut can directly impact serotonin levels and lead to mood disorders. If you want to support your mental health, then you also need to consider your gut health as they are directly related.

Ayurveda encourages practices like eating a constitution-specific diet, eating at certain times of the day, eating seasonal foods, and incorporating digestive herbs and spices.

🍁Beautiful Fall day and colours!🍁

It’s been a busy couple of weeks accompanied by 🤧. It was a perfect day to invite my lovely friend Leisa of to come and relax in the field with Jack, Luke and Jojo and play with watercolours and capture the Fall colours.

Spending time in the warmth of nature with the horses and a lovely friend can change your whole outlook and help repair ones immune system!

Please share with us your Fall self care activity!

For me playing with watercolours was the best in helping let go and just breathe!
