IVs vs. Supplements: Why I Use Both—But Not for the Same Reason

I’m not a fan of taking 15 pills a day. Most of my patients aren’t either.

In my clinic, both play a role—but the reason I use each is based on what your body actually needs to restore balance.

🧪 IV Therapy = Reliable Replenishment
It skips the gut and delivers nutrients straight to your cells—like magnesium, B12, and vitamin C. If you’re stressed, skipping meals, or on meds, these are often the first to run low.

šŸ’Š Supplements = Personalized Precision
I use a handful—omega-3s, probiotics, and what my labs tell me I need. No guesswork. No cabinet clutter.

Here’s the truth: Most of the high-achieving women I see are still depleted—even if they eat clean and take supplements.
IVs give us a faster, more controlled way to rebuild what’s missing.

Still feeling off—even with a solid supplement routine?
It might not be about doing more. It might be time for a smarter strategy.
DM me to explore IVs, fine-tune your labs, or simplify your supplement plan.

Let me tell you a secret — most of your friends are on Ozempic (or thinking about it).

But here’s what few people are talking about: GLP-1 medications aren’t just about weight loss. When used responsibly and in lower, strategic doses, research shows they may influence longevity, inflammation, and even brain health.

This is where things get interesting — because it’s not about chasing the latest trend, it’s about understanding the science behind how your metabolism changes after 40.

I covered this (and more) in my Metabolism After 40 Masterclass, and the free replay is now available on youtube.com/

I just got this snapping turtle unstuck, literally stuck under theĀ bridgeĀ railing. In that moment, it struck me: the very thing that protects us can also trap us.

Like the snapping turtle, we sometimes find ourselves stuck, unable to move forward, without the tools or hands to free ourselves. In moments like these, we need someone with the right perspective, someone who can clearly see the problem, understands where and how we’re trapped, and uses the right tools (even something as simple as a stick) to help lift us out.

The lesson? Don’t be afraid to seek help when you’re stuck. We all need a little expert guidanceĀ sometimes.

šŸ’„ Not all estrogens are equal.

Our bodies naturally produce different types of estrogens and also convert them into many different metabolites.Ā

That means that how we metabolize estrogen can influence our risk for hormone-driven diseases like some cancers.Ā

We can support healthy estrogen metabolism by eating sulfur-rich foods (like garlic and broccoli), consuming more fiber, and taking supplements like probiotics, resveratrol, calcium-d-glucarate, and DIM (diindolylmethane).Ā

šŸ‘‰ What’s one question you’ve always had about hormone balance? Let’s start the conversation.

Ozempic has become a hot topic—but also a controversial one. Some see it only as a weight loss drug, while others raise concerns about its safety. But there’s more to this story.

I’ve been taking a closer look at the research on GLP-1 peptides (like Ozempic), and it turns out they’ve been studied for years—not just for weight, but also for things like blood sugar, inflammation, and even brain health.

Over the next little while, I’ll be sharing what I’m learning—through research, clinical insights, and thoughtful discussion. Have you been curious or confused about GLP-1s? I’d love to hear your thoughts or questions in the comments.
