Dr. Ron Wallman, M.D., FRCS(C), is a fully certified and respected plastic surgeon with over 25 years of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery experience. Upon completion of plastic surgical training at the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Wallman has been working at Markham Stouffville Hospital, and also has surgical privileges at York Central Hospital and Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket. A Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Wallman remains dedicated to continued education, attending multiple seminars on the most innovative surgical techniques. The Markham Institute of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery is a fully accredited, private and full-service cosmetic plastic surgery clinic. The clinic which has a Class III certification from the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities Inc. (CAAASF), is located in Markham, Ontario, and is the first-of-its-kind in Markham and the surrounding area. The facility offers a personal and intimate approach to plastic surgery and delivers the ‘total package’ of cosmetic care. Patients entering the Markham Institute of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery are met with a modern, state of the art facility and greeted with exceptional and professional care. Their surgery includes: an initial consultation with Dr. Wallman and an assessment with the in-house nurse manager; a skilled and safe procedure; and for those of whom it’s necessary, an overnight stay is spent in comfortable, private and chic accommodations. Post-operative care is provided by the surgeons and staff and is attentive and detailed. The Markham Institute of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery opened its doors in November 2009, and has been offering cosmetic surgeries to patients in the Markham and surrounding area ever since. The following surgical procedures are performed by the surgeons of the clinic: breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction, ear tuck (otoplasty), eyelid lift, facelift, necklift, arm tuck and buttock lift. Full surgeries are performed in-house, or at Markham Stouffville Hospital. The location of the surgery depends on patient preference and the type of surgery to be performed.
