Rehabilitation of clients with serious motor vehicle injuires

Mind Connections team had the honour of attending the Brain Injury of Peel and Halton region Holiday party and fundraiser last night🎄

One of our clients, Paula Mauricio gave the survivor speech. She so eloquently captured the essence of going though a life changing experience of having and recovering from and acquired brain injury. I’m humbled everyday in working with my clients by the strength and resilience of individuals like Paula living with the effects of acquired brain injuries struggling to do the tasks that they once took for granted.

Mind Connections is a Silver sponsor of BIST Heroes 5K Run, Walk, Roll or Bike on September 29, 2024 at Wilket Creek Park. Our team is excited to join our colleagues in the industry to raise awareness and funds for Brain Injury Society of Toronto.

All funds raised go towards supporting BIST’s programs and services, such as our social drop-in programs, community meetings, workshops and support groups.
