It takes a village to raise a child, and our community continues to show up in such beautiful ways. 💛

Through our Bright Beginnings program, we provide care packages filled with essential items for little ones ages 0–3 whose families are facing financial hardship.

Would you consider helping us fill the next packages? Donations of baby essentials like diapers, wipes, baby toiletries, and clothing make a real difference for the families we serve.

Together we can help give every little one a bright beginning.

Today is International Women’s Day and the final day of our Period Dignity Drive 💗

Thank you to everyone who has already donated and helped make a difference for women in our community experiencing period poverty.

Access to basic menstrual products is something many of us take for granted, but for some women and families it can be a real barrier. Through our client care packages, RISE Support Centre works to ensure women have the essentials they need to care for their health with dignity.

If you’d still like to participate, donations of pads, tampons, or other menstrual hygiene products can be dropped off at the centre during our regular hours next week.

Together we can help ensure women in our community have access to the essentials they need.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate women and the incredible strength they show every day.

At RISE Support Centre, we have the privilege of walking alongside women in our community as they navigate unexpected pregnancies, parenting, and life’s many challenges. Every woman deserves to be supported, valued, and reminded that she is not alone.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women we serve, the mothers who inspire us, and the community that surrounds them with care and compassion.

You are strong. You are valued. And support is here when you need it. 💛

💛Period Dignity Drive from March 1 to March 8.💛

This International Women’s Day you can make a difference for women in our community struggling with period poverty!

Period poverty refers to the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, often due to financial constraints. Most RISE clients are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to afford essential items like pads, tampons, or menstrual cups. This leads to significant challenges, including compromised health, missed school or work, and a sense of shame or stigma. To address this issue, RISE includes feminine hygiene products in our monthly client care packages.

To help keep our cupboards stocked each year we run a
Period Dignity Drive from March 1 to March 8.

By donating pads, tampons, and other hygiene essentials, we can help ensure that our clients experiencing period poverty have access to the products they need to manage their menstrual health with dignity and without barriers. Your contribution, whether big or small, can make a significant difference in someone's life. This year we are hoping to collect enough supplies to last a full year - 500 packages*!

Donations can be dropped off at RISE Support Centre Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4pm. Please contact the centre for more information. info@risesupportcentre.ca 905.472.4357
