We’re proud to announce the design and build of a 3,000-gallon (~11,350 litres) custom reef system by Kane Aquarium — set to become the largest reef tank in an office setting in the GTA.
📏 Display dimensions: 14 ft (L) × 6 ft (W) × 3 ft (H)
🌐 Concept Design: A fully immersive walk-around reef experience, featuring a central overflow that allows for 360° viewing angles. This approach creates dynamic sightlines, unique rock structures, and ever-changing perspectives of the Ocean life from every side.
📍 Located in Markham, Ontario, this stunning installation will be the centerpiece of a 20,000 sq ft luxury medical club, surrounded by premium amenities including:
• Spa facilities (whirlpool bath & sauna)
• Fitness & wellness centre
• Café, bar & lounge
• Kids area
• Pharmacy & medical offices
🐠 The reef tank will sit front and center in the main lounge — an exclusive visual experience accessible only to club members.
🔧 Behind the scenes, this system is built for performance and scale:
• 8,000 GPH commercial-grade protein skimmer
• Industrial UV sterilization system
• Full RODI filtration
• Dedicated fish & coral quarantine systems
🛠️ Powered by a strong Team Kane Aquarium, this project reflects 1 year of planning and 6 months of hard work to date — with more to come.
🚧 Currently under construction, with completion targeted for the beginning of summer.
